Watch My Health
Apple Watch health complications for steps, heart rate, distance, energy, exercise and activity updates.
About
Watch My Health shows useful HealthKit metrics directly on your Apple Watch face using rich complications. You can add complications for steps, walking and running distance, heart rate variants, active energy, resting energy, exercise minutes, flights climbed, last active time and last update time.
How to Use
Open the iPhone app or Apple Watch app and allow Health access when prompted. The app needs HealthKit permission to read your activity and heart data.
On your Apple Watch, edit a watch face, choose a complication slot, then select Watch My Health and the metric you want to display.
In the iPhone app, tap Edit, choose Kilometers or Miles, then tap Save. Distance complications and the watch app use the selected unit.
Select Frequent or Occasional updates. Occasional is kinder to battery life and is recommended for most users.
If a setting does not appear on the watch face immediately, open Watch My Health on your Apple Watch once. This helps the phone and watch sync settings.
Available Complications
Watch My Health includes complications for Steps, Distance, Avg Heart Rate, Max Heart Rate, Min Heart Rate, Resting Heart Rate, Walking Heart Rate, Recent Heart Rate, Active Energy, Resting Energy, Exercise, Flights Climbed, Last Active, Last Updated and summary views.
Updates and Battery Life
Health data updates are managed carefully to preserve battery life. The app uses HealthKit updates where possible, throttles refreshes, and only asks complications to reload when the displayed health data has changed.
Privacy
Watch My Health does not require an account. Health data is read from Apple HealthKit only after you grant permission. Data is used to show values in the app and complications, and is not sold.
Troubleshooting
Check that Health access is enabled for Watch My Health in the Health app settings, then open the Apple Watch app once to refresh the shared data.
Save the setting in the iPhone app, keep your iPhone and Apple Watch nearby, then open the Watch My Health watch app to force settings sync.
Apple Watch complications are refreshed by the system to protect battery life. Updates may not appear instantly, especially when the watch is locked or in low power conditions.
